Setting the PC – Nokia Nseries USB Connection mode
If you plan to transfer WMDRM (Windows Media Digital Rights Management) copy-protected music from your device to your PC and use the USB data cable to connect your PC and your Nokia Nseries device, select the Media player connection type when prompted by the device. You need to have Microsoft Windows Media Player 11 installed.
Use the PC Suite connection type for other Nokia Nseries PC Suite connections, such as calendar, contact information or multimedia data synchronisation. PC Suite mode is also suitable for transferring music that is not protected by WMDRM.
To change the connection mode:

Press the menu key on your device

Select Connectivity – > Data cable (USB)

Select the suitable connection mode.
